Or how to take care of clothes,
to last as long as possible as new?
1. Aggressive work program
A well-washed and wrung garment is the basic prerequisite for the laundry to smell. However, it is unnecessary to "shred" the clothes too much. For more sensitive pieces or clothes with inscriptions or embroidery, try washing at 30 max. 40 instead of 60 degrees and spin at a lower number of revolutions. If the garment is still washed well, it is clear. If not, try one or the other, either higher wash level and lower spin or lower wash level and higher spin.
2. Not sorting laundry
Sorting the laundry before it goes into the washing machine is no less important. We all know that we should sort clothes not only by color, but also by material. However, we all know the situation: "Let those jeans wash...a satin blouse will do". Do the work and wash similar materials together. This will help you choose the right washing program.
3. Ironing. (Iron and iron! Especially sweatpants!)
The same applies to ironing. The steam and the high level of ironing temperature slowly but surely damage the fabric. Choose the level of ironing in proportion to the material, do not underestimate the "wheel" on the iron.
We know that many people neglect ironing. But ironing is very important for tracksuit sets! When it comes to sweatpants made of combed sweatpants (with hair), it is really necessary that they be ironed. After washing, the material can catch a fine "fluffy" film. By subsequent ironing, the fabric will be beautifully sealed back - the pile will close.
Also avoid ironing wet clothes. Clothes must be ironed when they are really dry.
4. Too much detergent or fabric softener
We have a natural tendency to pour more fabric softener or more washing gel into the washing machine when we want the laundry to smell miles away. But too much of everything is harmful even in this case. Do not overdo it with detergents. It won't help your laundry or your wallet, on the contrary...
5. Too much technology
Do not put delicate clothes in the dryer. High revolutions, a lot of rinsing and drying in the dryer - all this "beats" the fabric softener out of the laundry. A tumble dryer is a convenient alternative to drying laundry, but... if you want to keep the more intense smell of fabric softener in your laundry, we have "grandma's advice" for you. Air dry the garment. Best in the sun if possible. It's as simple as that.
